Tony was such a fascinating character to break down. I've never played a character that regresses so far into themselves before. Trying to bring out his innocence and childish mannerisms in the second half of the play was a really interesting challenge. He has such a dynamic character arc through the play and I loved the sheer variety that came with bringing him to life.
This was the first time that a production I've been involved with wanted to produce film-style posters for the publicity and marketing, and I am still amazed by how the posters turned out. The show's aesthetic was so well curated and I believe this really helped us sell the show to the audience. Debora Krut has not only incredible vision, but an aptitude for realising her vision so acutely. It was a pleasure to work with her.
"I like to make you comfortable, sir.“
Set against the changing social landscape of the 1960s, ‘The Servant’ is a gripping, psychosexual nightmare that sees a mysterious manservant enters an aristocrat’s home. Power-plays and mind-games abound as he slowly takes control.
