Best Leading Performer in a New Production of a Musical

I recently found out that I have been nominated for the UK/West End BroadwayWorld Awards 2022 under the 'Best Leading Performer in a New Production of a Musical' category for my work as Hades in the Persephone National Tour!

I had absolutely no idea this was possible for our little show, and it is an absolute honour to be nominated in the same category as so many role models who work in the industry - including, but not limited to, Samantha Barks, Jamie Muscato and Ruthie Henshall.

A number of the Persephone company have also been nominated for Best Direction (Emma Hawkins), Best Music Direction (Carrie Penn), Best Set Design (Alice Penrose) and Best Supporting Performer (Abi Watkinson and Rachel Smyth). Persephone the Musical was also nominated for Best New Musical! I am so grateful for this incredible opportunity; what a fantastic way to round off an incredible year of theatre-making.
